Thank you, George family!
2013 LemonAid Stand raises approximately $5,800!

Owen George & friends

Approximately $5,800 was raised by the 18th annual "LemonAid Stand for Easter Seals"! The event was hosted by the George family - 13-year-old Owen, assisted by his dad, mom, sister, and friends - Friday, June 21, 11:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center, 3701 Bellemeade Ave., Evansville, IN.

A huge crowd of supporters enjoyed grilled burgers and hot dogs, smoked BBQ, ice cream, baked goods, lemonade, and more!  A silent auction and raffle helped to boost the total raised for therapy.

Special thanks to local businesses that donated items and supplies, and to all the friends, family LemonAid Stand for Easter Sealsmembers, co-workers, and other volunteers who helped to make "LemonAid Stand for Easter Seals" such a big success!

This year's proceeds bring the grand total raised in the 18 years of this event to approximately $48,824.

The "LemonAid Stand for Easter Seals" was founded in 1996 by Evansville sisters Kaitlin and Emilie Thompson, who were serving as Easter Seals Child Representatives at the time.  The Thompson family hosted the annual event for a decade.  This is the seventh time the LemonAid Stand was coordinated by Owen George and family of Newburgh.
