Adult Day Services participants like Jon can help out at local businesses to better their pre-vocational and social skills.

Programming through our ASPIRE Adult Day Services can include visits to local places of business, where clients have the opportunity to practice their pre-vocational and social skills alongside the businesses’ employees.

"Mark," an ASPIRE participant, spent a half-hour at Papa John’s Pizza, where he assembled pizza boxes. His success at this task (28 boxes total!) was a great source of pride for him. Mark returned to our facility at 3701 Bellemeade beaming, and wasted no time sharing his accomplishment with his friends. The employees at Papa John’s enjoyed having the experience, as well. They took the time to chat with Mark and make him feel welcomed.

In addition to providing participants with recreational and volunteer opportunities, ASPIRE hopes to increase public awareness and inclusion of adults with disabilities.
