Support stations benefit adults served by ASPIRE. |

A high priority of ASPIRE is providing individuals with dignified assistance and instruction in activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing. |
This is a challenging yet important goal, as many of the adults served by ASPIRE use wheelchairs and have difficulty standing independently. Thanks to a generous contribution by Vectren, two new Rifton Support Stations are allowing clients to participate in activities in a comfortable, secure, and dignified standing position. |

This isn't Vectren's first grant to ASPIRE. In October 2005, the corporation's support made it possible for the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center to begin this day program for adults with significant developmental disabilities. |

ASPIRE started by serving less than two dozen individuals, and the program has grown to meet additional needs and is now helping approximately 50 men and women achieve their greatest potential for independence on a daily basis. |
